Medline Donates $50,000 in Critical Medical Supplies to Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Relief Effort

Medline Industries, Inc., today announced that it is donating $50,000 in medical supplies to Japan rescue and relief efforts following the country's devastating earthquakes and tsunami. The aid includes supplies for surgical procedures as well as a government request for surgeon's gloves and gowns.

"Our business is about alleviating human suffering, and through our acquisition of CareFusion's International Surgical Products business, we have colleagues and business operations in Japan," said Andy Mills, president of Medline. "In this tremendous time of need we are glad that we are able to reach out and help."
