Charlie Sheen Fares Better In Chicago
By Robert Paul Reyes
"Depending on who you asked, Charlie Sheen either 'brought his A-game' or 'sucked' during the second stop of his My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option live-show tour in Chicago on Sunday.

Charlie Sheen's opening show of his "My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Nat an Option" live-show tour was an unmitigated disaster. Sheen's fans in Detroit treated him like he was the offspring of Dick Cheney and the Antichrist.
In hindsight is was an error of epic proportions for the controversial actor to open his tour in Detroit, might as well have selected downtown Kabul.
Detroit is a failed city, it's post-apocalyptic landscape of abandoned houses should be enough to scare any sane entertainer from contemplating playing there. Sheen is not sane thus his decision to start his tour in Detroit.
There is a malaise of dread and depression that hangs over Detroit like a radioactive cloud. People in the Motor City were in no mood for Sheen's absurd take on life.
Sheen's second show in Chicago wasn't exactly a resounding success, but at least the audience wasn't on the verge of killing him.
Maybe things will get better for Sheen as the tour progresses, maybe not. But at least the warlock knows that if he survived Detroit, he can survive the rest of the tour.
