"Apptio University" Opens Doors to Teach the Fundamentals of Technology Business Management

Multi-Format, Interdisciplinary IT Business Curriculum Provides Accredited Training for Aspiring Technology Business Management Professionals

Apptio, the leading provider of on-demand Technology Business Management (TBM) solutions, today announced the launch of "Apptio University," a first-of-its-kind educational curriculum designed to teach IT practitioners how to apply TBM principles within their IT organizations to more effectively run IT like a business. Apptio University classes will be offered in a variety of formats, including computer-based training, pre-recorded video sessions, and on-site, hands-on classroom training. All coursework is taught by qualified instructors who have direct experience implementing TBM solutions and possess technical credentials across a variety of IT domains. All Apptio University coursework qualify for continuing education credits and are included at no additional cost to Apptio customers.

The entire Apptio University curriculum currently includes more than 20 individual courses.
