First Republican Presidential Debate Postponed

"The postponement of an upcoming Republican presidential candidate debate in California is the latest indicator that the GOP primary is off to a slow start, but many insiders said the delay won't hurt potential contenders.
The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation announced Wednesday its May 2 primary debate, co-hosted by Politico and NBC News, would be moved to Sept. 14.
John Heubusch, executive director for the foundation, said in a news release, 'Too few (candidates) have made the commitment thus far for a debate to be worthwhile in early May.'" Read More
The Republican presidential aspirants exhibit all the courage of the Cowardly Lion from "The Wizard of Oz." This is a typical statement from a Republican who is considering challenging Obama in 2012: I am exploring the possibility of forming a committee to determine if I should form a presidential exploratory committee. The Republican presidential prospects make Neville Chamberlain look an icon of courage and determination.
It's hard to believe that there isn't at least one Republican who will simply declare: I am running for President of the United States.
Donald Trump is a no-nonsense businessman who tells it like it is, but even he is afraid of announcing that he's running for president. Trump doesn't care about being politically-correct, witness his demand that Obama release his birth certificate. I'm not familiar with Trump's political ideology, but I would consider voting for him, his honesty is a breath of fresh air.
Some of the GOP wimps may be waiting until Sarah Palin announces her intentions. To defer to a simpleton like Palin is the epitome of cowardliness.
Obama is lucky that his opponents are so cowardly, he will have no trouble winning re-election.
