WeatherNation TV and NCTC Execute a Long-Term Agreement
DENVER - (BUSINESS WIRE) - The National
Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC) and WeatherNation
TV, Inc. have reached a new, long-term agreement for carriage of
WeatherNation. As part of this deal, NCTC members will now be able to
provide WeatherNation to their subscribers, beginning in Q2 of 2011.
"The U.S. has more severe weather activity than any nation on earth and
the occurrence of these severe weather events is on the rise. Viewers
want to find reliable and accurate weather being reported when they tune
to a weather service," said Michael Norton, Vice President, WeatherNation
TV. "We're pleased that the viewers of NCTC members will get exactly
that with WeatherNation."
