LTE to Reach 4 Percent of US Handset Sales in 2011
BOSTON - (BUSINESS WIRE) - According to research from Strategy Analytics, LTE technology will
account for 4 percent of mobile handset sales in the United States
during 2011. Major players driving the emerging LTE market this year
will include Samsung, Android and Verizon Wireless.
Tom Kang, Director at Strategy Analytics, said, "We forecast LTE
technology to account for 4 percent of mobile handset sales in the
United States during 2011, rising from near-zero in 2010. LTE is fast
