NetLogic Microsystems Announces Support for Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact 7 for Its Alchemy Family of Ultra Low-Power Embedded Processors

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - NetLogic Microsystems, Inc. (NASDAQ:NETL), a worldwide leader in high-performance intelligent semiconductor solutions for next-generation Internet networks, today announced its support of the newly released Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact 7 operating system for NetLogic Microsystems' Alchemy family of ultra low-power embedded processors to offer new functionality and a seamless development environment that supports the rapid creation of robust, securely connected embedded devices.

Windows Embedded Compact 7 will enable designers, developers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to bring high-performing, reliable and differentiated automotive-infotainment and navigation solutions to market more quickly with the latest tools and technologies, including Internet Explorer with Adobe Flash 10.1, strong connectivity features and a seamless development environment with tools such as Platform Builder, Visual Studio, Expression Blend, and the Silverlight for Windows Embedded user interface framework.
