2012 Model Segments
Trail
Performance: Arctic Cat introduced 9 trail performance models to
meet every riding need, from the sporty value F570 to the F1100 Turbo
high-speed racing sled. New for 2012, the ultra-lightweight and strong
ProCross Chassis delivers superior handling performance, assisted by the
ARS front-suspension for unmatched bump control and a new Slide-Action
rear suspension. Additionally, the all-new ProCross Chassis harnesses
the most powerful engine on a production snowmobile - Arctic Cat's
turbo-charged 1100 4-stroke EFI engine, which produces 177 horsepower.
The F1100 Turbo LXR aims for comfort, and comes with a rear storage bag,
electric-heated seat and medium-height windshield. For hardcore
high-performance riders, Arctic Cat offers the F1100 Turbo Sno Pro,
including the Limited and 50th Anniversary editions.
Mountain: Arctic Cat offers 9 new M Series mountain sled models
for 2012. All M Series snowmobiles feature the all-new ProClimb Chassis,
with its ultra-rigid, pyramidal design and neutrally balanced rider
ergonomics, as well as the latest ARS suspension technology, ADS drive
system and RMC hydraulic brakes. The M800 models are equipped with a
160-horsepower, 2-stroke engine, while the turbo-charged M1100 4-stroke
models produce a blistering 177 horsepower at any altitude, making them
the highest horsepower production machines on the mountain.
Crossover: Matching the lightweight and agile ProCross Chassis
with the 160-horsepower 800 H.O. engine, Arctic Cat delivers the
ultimate crossover combination: the all-new XF800 LXR, XF800 Sno Pro and
XF800 Sno Pro High Country. The new XF is aimed at the same rider who
wants outstanding trail handling with the ability to explore deep snow
in the back-country. The XF800 models deliver by incorporating all of
Arctic Cat's latest technologies, including the lightweight ProCross
Chassis, ARS front suspension, Tapered 2-Piece Tunnel on the chassis for
improved ergonomics and leg comfort, and the new RMC brake.
Utility: Arctic Cat's versatile Bearcat line is designed for work
and play, offering great value and functionality. All Bearcat models are
built on Arctic Cat's Twin Spar chassis, offer an adjustable 40- to
44-inch ski stance, wide 8-inch skis and an extra-large fuel tank. New
for 2012, Arctic Cat is introducing the Bearcat Z1 XT Groomer Special
with unique features and accessories designed specifically to handle a
wide range of trail grooming jobs. The Groomer Special is powered by an
ultra-clean and quiet 1100 4-stroke engine, with an extra-wide and
extra-long 156 inch track. A rear pintle hitch included on all Bearcat
models, including the Groomer Special, enables easy attachment of a
variety of rear-mount accessories. The Bearcat 570 and Bearcat 570 XT
models provide both workhorse utility and the optional comfort of 2-up
riding, with a detachable rear passenger seat and footrests. For the
ultimate dual-purpose utility/touring, look no further than the Bearcat
Z1 XT and Bearcat Z1 XT Limited, two snowmobiles that can go anywhere
and do anything with a powerful 1100 4-stroke EFI engine. The XT Limited
version adds premium, touring-focused features such as a third seat,
rear storage bag, engine heater, heated driver seat and an extra-tall
windshield.
Luxury Touring: Arctic Cat invented the 2-up touring snowmobile
segment and still leads the way with an entry T570 2-stroke, as well as
three luxury TZ1 models. The TZ1 - long-haul touring legends - are
loaded with every possible comfort and convenience, and powered by the
