Tonchidot, the Tokyo-based mobile application company, today launches its free "domo" mobile app for Android and iPhone. First announced with much fanfare at the LAUNCH Conference in San Francisco, domo is a "pre-social" application that allows users to find people around them they do not yet know, who would be interesting to connect with. The launch of domo was one of the most memorable moments at the LAUNCH Conference, with VentureBeat hailing domo as "the one LAUNCH presentation you must watch."
