Charlie Sheen: A "Winning" Celeb
By Robert Paul Reyes
When CBS canceled "Two and a Half Men" for the rest of the season, those of us who admire Charlie Sheen as a gifted comedic actor hoped that he would stay out of the spotlight, and focus on overcoming his demons.
Instead Sheen has been omnipresent in the media, you can't escape the gnarly dude, he's everywhere from TV to Twitter.
Every network and cable station has interviewed the "winning" thespian. It's like watching pornography, only the payoff isn't a sexual climax but an outrageous quote that could only have emanated from a disturbed and twisted mind.
Now that every media outlet has taken its turn exploiting Charlie Sheen for fun and ratings, the troubled star is exploiting himself. Sheen has a reality Web show for hardcore addicts who need their daily fix.
If Charlie doesn't get professional help, his only contributions to popular culture from this point on will be more colorful phrases added to our lexicon.
I don't have Tiger Blood and I don't have Adonis DNA, but it seems to be that Sheen is doing anything but winning.
