STS 134 & Island Boat Line Launch Viewing Cruise - April 19th is the End of a Legacy as Shuttle Endeavour Lifts Off to Its Final Journey to Space
Cocoa Beach, FL, March 02, 2011 --(PR.com)-- STS-134 Description: Space shuttle Endeavour will deliver the Express Logistics Carrier-3 (ELC-3) and the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) to the International Space Station.
This night launch cruise details are as follows: 5:30 p.m. Boarding begins 6:00 Underway 7:48 Night Launch Viewing 9:15 –Return to the dock. Event concludes.
Island Boat Lines Boarding Passes will be selling boarding passes for $100 per person. There will only be a limited number of seats available. The Island Boat Line vessels will be an estimated 9 miles from launch pad on the Banana River just north of Port Canaveral. Tickets will go on sale 3/7/11.
The Indian River Queen Boarding Passes will also be $100 per person and only 120 will be sold. An additional 30 tickets will be sold for the VIP topside observation deck for $200 per person. The Indian River Queen will be an estimated 11 miles from launch pad on the Indian River, north of 528 and south of the NASA causeway.
No fees will be charged if and only if the launch is “scrubbed” up to 12 hours prior to launch. Otherwise, all ticket sales are final and no refunds will be provided.
