Senior Home Care Encourages Greatness as Sponsor of the 2011 Young Women's Leadership Symposium
TAMPA, Fla. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - For the second year in a row, Senior
Home Care is a proud sponsor and participant in the 2011
Tampa Bay Young Women's Leadership Symposium, Saturday, February 26,
at Tampa Preparatory School. The annual event is designed to educate and
inspire high school age women to maximize their potential by giving them
access to influential business women in the Tampa Bay area. This year's
keynote speaker is Collins Tuohy, subject of the Oscar-winning movie
"The Blind Side." Tammie Fields, weekend anchor at 10 Connects, will
emcee the event.
As a 2010 Young Women's Leadership Symposium panel member, Senior Home
Care's Chief Operations Officer Lynne Hebert understands the importance
of encouraging future women leaders. "I am so inspired by the drive and
ambition of these young women," said Hebert. "As business professionals
and as women leaders in the community, it's our responsibility to
encourage and mentor these women to the very best of our ability. They
are the future."
Tuohy, Fields and Hebert will be joined by a number of accomplished,
executive business women from the Tampa bay area, many of which will
interact with the young women attendees in a small group setting as
event day coaches or conduct breakout sessions. A panel of elite, female
executive-level professionals, including Rita Lowman, President of
American Momentum Bank; Stephanie Wright, Project Manager for Dr. Faith
Felder; Dr. Catherine Lee, Assistant Professor of Surgery, Division of
Oncologic Sciences at the University of South Florida; and Jan Barr,
Vice President of Human Resources of Senior Home Care, will share their
challenges and success stories with the young women.

Bank, AonHewitt, WEDU, TradeWinds Island Resorts, Bernard Hodes Group,
