Ron Paul Attacked By Biased Mainstream Media, Again!
By Ian Brockwell
If Ron Paul was such a small threat to the more established politicians, as the mainstream media would have you believe, why do they seem so determined to belittle the success that he receives?
Many Ron Paul supporters will remember his challenge for Presidential candidate in 2008, where he did very well in many of the polls. However, the MSM rarely mentioned Ron Paul's name when he did well, and on one occasion (when he came third), they reported on who came first, second and fourth, but did not confirm that Paul came third.
The latest outrage was performed by those champions of biased reporting "Fox News", who informed their viewers that Ron Paul had achieved his second year win in the CPAC straw poll. However, instead of showing a video of the audience reaction from the latest victory, they played the one from the previous year.
Following the announcement of Ron Paul's latest success in the poll, the audience cheered for a long time and very loudly, but his victory the previous year attracted a mixed reaction, which included some booing.
Bill Hemmer of Fox News apologised for using the wrong video and said "It's an honest mistake. We apologize for the error."
An "honest" mistake? I think not! Perhaps all the negative comments about Ron Paul on Fox News and other MSM channels were also an error?

Unfortunately, very few people take any notice of apologies after a mistake is made, much like the ones you find in Newspapers, and viewers will only remember the first report (which is how it was intended).
It is by no means certain that Ron Paul will stand as a candidate in the 2012 Presidential elections, but it is clear that the "usual suspects" have already begun their attempts to kill his chances before that time comes.
You might think that the American voting public would get wise to these underhand tactics, but voters have a habit of being easily fooled (the same thing happened in Britain recently).
In the run-up to the 2012 elections, the public will be presented with a number of potential candidates (as usual), but in the end you will only be allowed to choose the two that are selected for you (by the Elite). It doesn't matter which one of these you choose, as they are both controlled by the same people, who will introduce the same policies (no matter how different they make them sound before you vote).
It would be nice to see Ron Paul (or someone like him) succeed, but I fear that if he does win against the odds, how long will he be allowed to stay in power?
