Gretchen Wilson Slipped Into a Pair of Combat Boots for The Boot Campaign

Award-winning country music darling, Gretchen Wilson, kicked off her cowboy boots and slipped into a pair of combat boots to show her gratitude for our armed forces. It's all part of the Boot Campaign's 'get YOUR boots on' mission. By posing in her combat boots, Wilson is saying 'thank you' for the hard work and sacrifices made by the men and women in the U.S. Military. Wilson joins a growing chorus of celebrities, professional athletes, politicians, business leaders and Americans who are getting THEIR boots on for our troops.

"This is such a simple and really effective campaign to bring attention to men and women who serve our country all over the world to protect our freedom, and I am very proud to be a part of it," says Gretchen Wilson.

Getchen Wilson exploded onto the country music scene in 2004 with her smash hit "Redneck Woman" and has since scored three #1 albums. The critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter has won virtually every award for which she's been nominated, including trophies from the *Grammys, ACM, CMA, AMA and more. Her first book, the autobiographical "Redneck Woman: Stories from My Life," landed her on the prestigious New York Times Best Seller List. Her newest album, I Got Your Country Right Here, is currently in stores, and her "I'd Love To Be Your Last" single is hitting radio now. She is nominated for two Grammy Awards this year.

THE BOOT CAMPAIGN

The Boot Campaign is a grassroots initiative started by five women from Texas known as the Boot Girls. The Boot Campaign provides an easy and tangible way for Americans to show support for our troops (both past and present) that's practical and directly benefits our military who are returning home from active duty. Proceeds from boot sales are donated to partner charities, including the Lone Survivor Foundation, which assist returning veterans dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and varying degrees of physical injuries.

What better way to say thank you to our returning troops than by sporting a pair of boots just like theirs? So join thousands of fellow Americans and get YOUR boots ON! In return you get a personal thank-you card for your donation in the form of boots that you can proudly wear any day of the week and for every occasion!
