Combionic unveils innovative software solutions for productive collaboration in enterprise and public sector at CeBIT 2011.

Combionic will introduce the „Combionic Collaborator“, a Desktop application that significantly increases personal productivity in conjunction with its Collaboration Management Framework (CMF) and a context-driven logical Middleware. These innovative technologies enable electronic records management, simplified file management via cloud services, and new partner industry solutions.

New Electronic File Management: ergonomic handling and pragmatic implementation
The Electronic File Management Start-up Kit was developed as a joint project between Materna, Microsoft® and Combionic. For the first time, a solution was created for public administrations such as government offices to make use of electronic files directly out of a Microsoft® application. The Electronic File Management Start-up Kit is based on Microsoft® SharePoint® and enables both collaborative work on documents as well as electronic filing. Trade show visitors can also learn more about the Electronic File Start-up Kit at the MATERNA booth in the Public Sector Parc in Hall 9 (C68).

Simplified file management with cloud services
Together with Siemens IT Solutions and Services (SIS) and Microsoft®, Combionic showcases the use of Cloud Computing in public administration. CeBIT visitors can experience to what degree the process of relocating a company’s registered headquarters can be streamlined with the help of cloud technologies. For more information, please visit the Cloud Showcase at the SIS booth in the Public Sector Parc in Hall 9 (B54).

The modern workplace for health insurance providers
The joint project initiative between disserto management gmbh, Microsoft Germany and Combionic entitled „Modern health insurance provider workplace” will be displayed for the first time. It enables users with health insurance providers to efficiently access information from various business applications directly within Microsoft® Office.

Increased efficiency in law firms and courts
In partnership with novaCapta, Combionic demonstrates the benefits of context-based work in courthouses using the example of the Higher Labor Court of Hamm, Germany. With UK partner TopicLogic, we offer a streamlined solution for a typical legal practice to scan, file and share legal documents. This addresses the challenge that many law firms and courthouses face when managing documents from various formats using devices such as iPhones, iPads or PCs. The showcase demonstrates how much more efficiently these firms can file, find and share documents using Combionic technology.

Integrated customer overview: Incorporate information from business applications
For the first time, the Combionic Gateway Technology will be shown in use with Microsoft® Dynamics™ CRM. Sales managers access relevant information from various data sources within their CRM application and in the context of a specific task. This provides users with an integrated customer profile, which in turn significantly increases the quality of customer interaction.

New opportunities for partners
New solution components are available as part of Combionic’s Collaboration Management Framework (CMF) and context-driven logical Middleware, which enable faster and more comprehensive project implementation. „Logical Libraries” allow for user-specific “logical” structuring of information and documents, despite different physical locations. Using standardized connectors, it is possible to access files on local file systems, network drives, in Microsoft® SharePoint®, Microsoft® SQL®, as well as Microsoft® Office 365 (BPOS) this way. The management of document templates (Power Templates), notes and efficient monitoring of information flows (News Stream Mining) are productivity services offered within the CMF Framework. The Beta Release of the Combionic Business Gateway 2011 is an expanded development of the Office Business Gateway 2010, which is now integrated and compatible with Microsoft® Internet Explorer 8.x and Adobe® Acrobat as host applications and is based on the .NET 4.0 runtime.

All scenarios and showcases can be found at the Combionic workplace in the Microsoft booth A26 located in Hall 4, P14.
