Sarah Palin Calls Rick Santorum A "Knuckle-Dragging Neanderthal"

"Sarah Palin is mixing it up with potential rival Rick Santorum, suggesting the former Pennsylvania senator and presidential hopeful is a 'knuckle-dragging Neanderthal.'

The eyebrow-raising slap came in response to Santorum's recent comments that Palin was likely skipping an annual gathering of conservatives in Washington this weekend because of other "business opportunities" and her mothering responsibilities.

"I don't live in Alaska and I'm not the mother to all these kids and I don't have other responsibilities that she has," Santorum said in comments that some commentators called sexist.

'Just because I'm a mom that does not mean that I didn't want to be there,' Palin responded on Fox News Wednesday night. 'I'm the proud mother of five...my kids don't hold me back from attending a conference.' Read More

The gloves have come off in the race for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination...

Sarah Palin should think twice about comparing anyone to a Neanderthal, isn't she the one who has compared herself to a pit bull and a Grizzly Bear? Palin's latest crazy remark once again illustrates that she isn't exactly known for nuance or subtlety. I've been called a Neanderthal or more than one occasion, but never a "knuckle-dragging Neanderthal."

Palin is the Neanderthal who believes the Earth is only 6,000 years old, and that human beings can be possessed by demons.

Rick Santorum isn't a Neanderthal, but he is a wimp. After the former senator implied that Palin was putting financial opportunities ahead of her allegiance to the conservative movement, he backtracked from his words.

Palin won't back down from her words, she may say that Santorum is a regular Neanderthal and not the knuckle-dragging kind, but that's as far as she'll go.

Palin's brood don't hold her back from making a buck or attending a political or celebrity event. The former beauty queen didn't attend the Conservative Political Action Conference because she has an ongoing feud with some of the leaders of the organization.

Santorum should stop wasting his time attacking Palin, she has no intentions of running for president. The former Governor of Alaska is having too much fun being a celeb.
