Regions Financial Rolls Out Help for Personal Insurance Needs Through Alabama Bank Branches

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Customers visiting any Regions Bank (NYSE: RF) branch in Alabama can now find solutions both for their banking needs and a way to address personal insurance needs.

Regions Financial announced in 2010 a process to provide solutions for personal lines of insurance to customers. In addition to now offering the service in Alabama, the company also offers this service in Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa and Virginia. The service will be available for additional states in Regions' footprint throughout 2011.

Personal lines of insurance available through bank branches include homeowners, renters, automobile, recreational vehicles, motorcycles, watercraft and a full range of specialty insurance products for personal insurance needs.

"For many in Alabama, Regions is a familiar, trusted name," said Curren Coco, head of Regions Insurance. "The vast majority of Alabamians live only a few minutes from a Regions location, and rolling out personal insurance offerings through branches is just another way we can help customers take care of more of their financial needs."

Personal lines insurance requests through Regions Bank branches are routed through a Centralized Agency Operation Center. Non-commissioned, licensed agents in the center assess the needs of each customer and then help match them with appropriate policies at competitive prices.

In addition to obtaining assistance at bank branches, Regions customers in Alabama can also contact the Agent Center directly by calling 888-QUOTE-03 (888-786-8303).
