Protective to Participate in Bank of America Merrill Lynch 2011 Insurance Conference

the Bank of America Merrill Lynch 2011 Insurance Conference in New York
City on Wednesday, February 16, 2011. John D. Johns, Protective's
Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, will discuss the
Company's results and strategic direction beginning at 2:00 p.m. ET that
day.
