Lee was named one of the "sexiest female athletes" in the world by ESPN, and was recently featured in ESPN The Magazine's Body Issue. She's also appeared on the Best Damn Sports Show, Entertainment Tonight and The Late Show with David Letterman.
The APA Black Widow Tour is sponsored by the American Poolplayers Association (APA) and aims to get people interested in participating in the sport of pool.
The tour opened last month in Chicago with the Big Apple next on the Black Widow's itinerary. Lee will visit Carom Cafe Billiards in Queens on February 21. Additional stops include: Miami, Memphis, Dallas, Toronto, Seattle and three cities yet to be announced.
Fans at each show will have an opportunity to get up close and personal with the Black Widow as she performs trick shots, signs autographs and plays a few brave challengers. Admission is free.
Lee is the official spokesperson for the APA and encourages people to play pool.
"APA Leagues are a great way for people who may have never played pool to get involved in it. Pool is a sport that anyone can participate in, regardless of age, gender or physical ability," said Lee.
APA Pool Leagues utilize a handicap scoring system - similar to golf or bowling - that allows people of all skill levels to compete equally.
The APA sanctions the world's largest amateur pool league. More than 270,000 members compete in weekly 8-Ball and 9-Ball leagues. The APA is recognized as the Governing Body of Amateur Pool, having established the official rules, championships, formats and handicap systems for the sport of amateur billiards.
The APA pays out nearly $1.5 Million in cash and prizes annually at their national championships in Las Vegas. The APA and its championships are sponsored by Aramith, PoolDawg and Action Cues.
