ADDING MULTIMEDIA Madame Tussauds Partners with DIY Network to Unveil Newest Wax Figure, Tony "The Goose" Siragusa, During Super Bowl Week at the NFL Experience on Thursday, February 3 at 8 p.m. CST
NEW YORK - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Madame
Tussauds announced today that Tony
Siragusa, host of DIY
Network's "Man
Caves," Super Bowl champion and currently the FOX NFL field analyst,
will be the newest addition to its wax collection of celebrities,
athletes and world and political leaders. Partnering with DIY Network,
the go-to-destination for home improvement television, Madame Tussauds'
official unveiling will take place at the NFL
Experience at the Dallas Convention Center on the Entertainment
Stage on Thursday, Feb. 3 at 8-9 p.m. CST. During that time, Siragusa
will be in attendance to check out his wax figure for the first time,
take photographs and sign autographs for fans. The figure will also be
present at the NFL Experience at DIY Network's "Man Caves" booth in Hall
C, beginning Tuesday, Feb. 2 until Sunday, Feb. 6.

"I never really thought Madame Tussauds had enough wax for a guy my size
or that I'd be in the Hall of Wax," commented Siragusa. "I'm honored to
be a part of it."
Siragusa sat twice with a team of Madame Tussauds sculptors who took 250
separate measurements of his face and body to ensure every detail of the
figure would be accurate. The measurements were then used to create clay
molds of his face and body from which the figure was created. The entire
process from start-to-finish took more than three months to complete and
was captured by DIY Network for a half-hour special of "Man Caves,"
which is scheduled to air later this year. In addition, the special will
include DIY Network's upcoming build of a man cave, where Siragusa's wax
figure will reside, at Madame Tussauds' New York City Times Square
location.
"Tony is a larger-than-life personality," said Bret Pidgeon, general
manager of Madame Tussauds New York. "It's only fitting that there are
now two Tonys in the world."
Affectionately known as "The Goose," Siragusa played 12 NFL seasons for
the Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens, helping the latter team win
its first and only Super Bowl title in 2001. Since retiring from the
league, Siragusa has become the NFL's only field analyst providing
commentary and in-game analysis from his position in the end zone and
co-hosts DIY Network's "Man Caves," a TV series that offers guys ideas
and know-how on creating the ultimate hangout in their homes.
