Archaeology Professor on Egypt Turmoil and Threat to Ancient Relics, Antiquities
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Reporters covering the unrest in Egypt can schedule an interview with William Fulco, S.J., an expert in relics and antiquities, on the possible threat to Egypt's museums and archaeological sites.
"The Egyptians have an enormous sense of history," Fulco said in a recent interview. "The people themselves formed militias to protect sites of antiquities, including the Egyptian Museum, one of the most stunning museums in the world. ...
