BCNEPA Selects Diversified Information Technologies to Streamline Group Plan Enrollment

Under the agreement, group administrators will email, fax or mail applications and enrollment correspondence directly to Diversified's fortified processing system. The company will securely scan the forms and convert them to digital images, which BCNEPA employees will immediately be able to access and process electronically.

By using Diversified, BCNEPA estimates it will save 30 percent annually on the cost of enrolling group members because much of the paper will be eliminated from its internal processes. BCNEPA also expects to significantly cut the time it takes to process each group enrollment application to approximately one day.

Diversified already helps BCNEPA with electronic document storage, and the new agreement gives two northeastern Pennsylvania employers the chance to continue working closely together.

Besides streamlining group plan enrollment, Diversified will help BCNEPA cost-effectively and securely handle a variety of group account maintenance documents. After Diversified scans the paper documents, the company will shred them after their allotted retention time, and Diversified's system will allow BCNEPA to track each document as it's processed.
