Oasis Systems Hires Human Resources Vice President

LEXINGTON, Mass., Feb. 4, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Oasis Systems announced today the hiring of Dr. Mary Jane Knudson as Vice President of Human Resources, reporting to Oasis's Chief Executive Office, Tom Colatosti.
Ms. Knudson will provide direction to the Human Resources initiatives, policies, processes and practices to attract, retain, and develop the most talented workforce in the industry. She is charged with understanding the Oasis business direction and plans, and translating that knowledge into implications for the people-side of the business. Her responsibilities include oversight of talent acquisition, reward and recognition programs, team member benefits, individual and leadership development, and performance management. The Human Resources mandate is to build on the foundation of current excellent practices and deliver an HR platform that is both scalable and efficient as the company grows.
Ms. Knudson has over 25 years experience executing strategic and innovative HR initiatives aligned with business goals. Prior to joining Oasis Systems, she spent 12 years as Vice President, Human Resources at Fidelity Investments in various roles including Senior HR Business partner to Fidelity's Chief Financial Officer and also in Leadership and Organization Development. She also held HR leadership roles with increasing responsibility for 13 years at Digital Equipment Corporation (now HP Corporation). She is currently President, Human Resources Leadership Forum (HRLF), the leading professional association serving greater Boston's Senior HR community. She holds both Master's and Doctorate degrees in Education from Harvard University and a Master's degree from Gordon Conwell Seminary. She resides in Carlisle, MA with her husband and teenage daughter.
