Kopin Wins Fourth Consecutive Supplier Award from Skyworks Solutions
TAUNTON, Mass. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Kopin Corporation (NASD: KOPN), the world's leading producer of
heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) wafers for smart phones and
other mobile devices, announced today that it received the 2010 Raw
Materials Supplier Award from Skyworks Solutions, Inc. The award was
presented to Kopin during Skyworks' Supplier Day, held January 11 in
Newport Beach, Calif., for the supply of HBT and other advanced III-V
epi wafers to Skyworks' Newbury Park, Calif. wafer fab. This is Kopin's
fourth consecutive award in this category in addition to a Lifetime
Partnership Award bestowed in 2008.
