Tyler Technologies and Georgia's Fulton County Sign $10 Million Contract for Jail and Court Case Management System
DALLAS - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed a contract valued at
approximately $10 million to provide its Odyssey integrated
justice suite to Fulton County, Georgia. Fulton County, which has a
population of more than one million and is home to Atlanta, has invested
in a broad range of Tyler's Odyssey applications including Case Manager,
Prosecutor, Supervision, Law Enforcement, Jail Manager, Financial
Manager and Public Access.
"Fulton County sought a single experienced service provider with a
proven integrated solution for our new Unified Justice Case Management
System (UJCMS)," said Ryan Fernandes, chief information officer for
Fulton County. "We chose Tyler's integrated Odyssey solution because it
will allow us to streamline business practices from arrest to
disposition, decrease data entry redundancy and move us away from
paper-driven processes with an integrated content management system.
Odyssey is a modern, Web-based system that will allow us to provide
real-time information to all stakeholders in Fulton's justice community,
while giving county leaders the timely data they need to help preserve
public safety."
The contract for Odyssey
includes software licenses, maintenance, support and related
professional services. For the past 11 years, Fulton County has utilized
Tyler's legacy civil case management solution, including document
imaging. Tyler's Appraisal
& Tax Division also has a long-term partnership with Fulton
County.
