Stina Announces Addition of Geo to Board of Directors

Stina Resources Ltd. ("the Company") (TSX VENTURE: SQA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Geologist Allan Doherty to the Company's Board of Directors.

Mr. Doherty's geological experience includes 30 years of mineral exploration and geological mapping in the Yukon, and was project geologist during the discovery and definition of the Mount Skukum ore body in 1981/82. He also has extensive exploration experience throughout the Yukon, including early exploration work on both Underworld's White Gold and Kaminak's Coffee projects. He has managed and coordinated numerous exploration projects throughout the Yukon, and has also worked in British Columbia, Alaska, Nevada, China, and Brazil. Mr. Doherty has also completed numerous listing reports for companies on the TSX Venture, Toronto, and Alberta Stock Exchanges.

Mr. Doherty holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree from the University of New Brunswick 1977, and completed two years of graduate studies at Memorial University of Newfoundland 1978/79. He has also been a member of the British Columbia Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists (No. 20564) since 1993. Mr. Doherty is the past president and director of the Yukon Chamber of Mines 1987-1988 and was a director of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) 1996-2006. He was a member of the government appointed Yukon Minerals Advisory Board for four years, and was a founding member and Chair of the Yukon Mine Training Association.

Mr. Doherty coordinated the Dime exploration program in 2010 for Stina and has extensive knowledge of the Yukon's White District, and has worked with prospector Shawn Ryan for several years in developing Yukon properties.

Mr. Doherty will be appointed Vice-President of Exploration for the Company, and will direct the 2011 Yukon exploration program. Stina is very excited about the addition of Mr. Doherty to its board of directors and looks forward to his extensive knowledge and skills in furthering the value of the Company.
