Jon Anda, Head of UBS Environmental Markets Group, Joins Audubon Board
NEW YORK - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Jon Anda, who launched UBS Securities Environmental Markets Group in
September 2010, has been named to the Board of Directors of the National
Audubon Society. As leader of the new UBS group, Anda works with clean
tech, utility, and industrial companies on the application of
environmental policy analytics to financial decision making.
"Jon brings a singular and powerful understanding of how financial and
environmental policy and interests can intersect to drive both
conservation and business success," said Holt Thrasher, board chair and
founder and manager of Mooreland Partners, an investment banking firm
serving technology companies.
Anda began full time environmental markets work in 2007 at the
Environmental Defense Fund and as a Visiting Fellow at the Nicholas
Institute for Environmental Policy at Duke University. Prior, he spent
20 years at Morgan Stanley where he ran a number of business units,
including Global Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Equity Capital
Markets, Investment Banking & Equities in Asia, and served as a Vice
Chairman of Institutional Securities.

Anda has an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern

Energy & Climate.
