FedScoop's 2nd Annual CyberSecurity Summit to Bring Key Federal IT Players Together for Discussion on State of Government CyberSecurity

WASHINGTON, Feb. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On February 24, government media and marketing company FedScoop will be hosting its 2nd Annual CyberSecurity Summit, featuring high-profile government, media and technology professionals, such as Army CIO Michael Krieger, HP's Director of the U.S. Defense Command and Control Infrastructure Admiral (Ret.) Betsy Hight, Department of Justice CIO Vance Hitch, Department of Defense Deputy CIO and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Information Management Robert Carey, and Symantec Vice President GiGi Schumm, among others, discussing the state of cybersecurity in government.

FedScoop's 2nd Annual CyberSecurity Summit, part of the FedTalks event series, will feature a series of panels and discussions on a variety of prominent government cybersecurity issues with esteemed industry and government IT experts, including the "Securing the Cloud" panel with Mike Krieger and "Law Enforcement's Perspective on Cyber Crimes" with Executive Assistant Director of the FBI's Criminal, Cyber, Response, and Services Branch Shawn Henry.

The event will be held on the 7th floor of The Newseum, 555 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., and is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.. The 2nd Annual CyberSecurity Summit will bring together 250 top decision makers from the federal IT community.
