Bally Technologies Wins Systems Contract with Isle Vista Casino
LAS VEGAS - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Bally
Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI), a leader in slots, video machines,
casino-management, and networked and server-based systems for the global
gaming industry, announced today the completion of a new systems
contract with Wisconsin's Isle Vista Casino that replaces 100 percent of
a competitor's systems technology.
The planned installation is slated to go live in February 2011 at the
casino, which is owned and operated by the Red Cliff Band of Chippewa
Indians and located three miles north of Bayfield, Wisconsin on the Red
Cliff reservation. The comprehensive solution that Bally is providing
comprises an array of technology-leading and award-winning Bally systems
products:
-
SDS
- an integrated information system that collects slot-accounting and
player-tracking data, and continually monitors slot machines, other
gaming devices, and customer gaming activity.
-
CMP
- This player-tracking system helps manage and evaluate the player
database, and enables casinos to gather and track data including a
player's favorite beverage and preferred language.
-
TableView
- this real-time table rating and player-tracking solution connects
all table games within a property and records information and
transactions at the gaming table that provide instant access to table
ratings and financial accounting data.
-
Power
Rewards and Power Promotions - This package of bonusing, gaming,
and promotions offers a range of predefined bonus events, sweepstakes,
and promotional programs.
-
Player-User-Interface Displays - Bally is installing 212
player-user-interface displays to provide player's club and marketing
messages on the casino's gaming devices
"Our new partnership with Bally Technologies will deliver a
state-of-the-art system overhaul that will produce greater
functionality, enhance and provide new customer-focused options, and
produce a level of casino data that we have not seen in our history,"
said Jeff Gordon, General Manager for Isle Vista Casino. "This
installation takes us far beyond a win-win scenario."
According to Gordon, he and his team chose Bally Technologies because of
the Bally system's current and future expandability, particularly with
the manufacturer's other bonusing and promotional products such as Power
Winners , CoolSign
enterprise-wide media management, and Bally
TV .
Bally's system solutions will go live with 212 slots and eight tables,
and later increase to 300 slots when the property's owner and operator,
the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, opens and moves all gaming
operations to its larger and newly constructed Legendary Waters Resort
and Casino in the Fall 2011.
"Our systems and enhanced technology products will help Isle Vista
reduce costs, protect invested capital, and deliver more powerful player
experiences floor-wide across the casino," said Tom Reilly, Bally
Technologies' Vice President of North America Systems Sales - Eastern
Region. "The transition from Isle Vista to their beautiful new casino
resort will be fluid and seamless, enabling the property to function
with the latest systems products even before the doors open."
Isle Vista Casino is located on the Red Cliff reservation, nestled along
the northern shoreline of the Bayfield Peninsula in northwest Wisconsin.
The property offers a wide variety of games including blackjack, 2-deck
pitch, video poker, video keno, reel slots, and bingo. The casino is the
second largest employer on the reservation, employing around 75 people.
