Internationally Acclaimed Poet Joins Hurts Publishing
International acclaimed poet, speaker, and best-selling author Isiah Hurts has joined Hurts Publishing with a management and joint venture book agreement. Isiah will write under a newly formed joint venture with the company's premiere poetry-based book division, Hurts Poetry. His highly-anticipated book, "Water For the Soul," is scheduled for a December 5, 2011 release on Hurts Poetry/Hurts Publishing.
Ever since 15, Isiah has been writing poetry in his journal, with no intention of sharing them. Some of the poems are painful, but most of them are things that he felt needed to be touched on.
"A lot of the poems that I have written when I was little, have helped me when I got older. It amaze me how you can write something down out of nowhere, but end up going through it, when you get older."
So I decided to release this book to help other people overcome their problems. Whether it has to do with death, love, or even fears. That's why I decided to call it Water For The Soul.

Poet Isiah is a native of Texas. He burst onto the scene in 2005 when his poem Life was featured in a book Fresh Cutting. Life was also featured in Immortal Verses in 2007. In October 2007 Isiah won an Editor's Choice Award For Outstanding Achievement In Poetry for his poem "Life". He released his first cookbook Isiah Classic Food on March 1, 2010 which is currently in its second edition. Isiah is also an entrepreneur with products under development under his company Hurts Publishing, as well as producing a merchandising line.
