Developers Diversified Realty Announces Anthropologie to Join Town Center Plaza in Kansas City

Lorraine Adney, Director of the Midwestern Region for the McDevitt Company, an international tenant representation firm representing Anthropologie, said, "Anthropologie is very excited to join Town Center Plaza in summer 2011 as the brand sees great potential in the Johnson County market. The Town Center Plaza store will be uniquely designed and offer the sophisticated Leawood customer a special place to shop."

"This unique and imaginatively designed store will be a tremendous addition to Town Center Plaza and is a further example of our company's commitment to remerchandising and reinvesting in our Prime assets."

In 2010 at Town Center Plaza, Victoria's Secret relocated and expanded to a new 7,200 square-foot prototype store, Bath & Body Works expanded into a 3,267 square-foot space, and The Limited executed an agreement to open a 4,595 square-foot store in spring 2011.

In addition to the new and expanded stores, Town Center Plaza currently features Macy's, Dick's Sporting Goods, J. Crew, Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, Coldwater Creek, Banana Republic, The Gap, Ann Taylor as well as other specialty stores and restaurants. The shopping center is 97 percent leased.
