Fiskars wins eight GOOD DESIGN 2010 Awards for extraordinary design excellence

The GOOD DESIGN Award is conferred annually by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design together with The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. The Museum received a record number of entries in 2010 from corporations in over 48 countries.

All winning designs for GOOD DESIGN 2010 will be posted on the Museum's website at www.chi-athenaeum.org. All products and graphics will be exhibited at The Chicago Athenaeum in the GOOD DESIGN show for 2010 in Chicago in June 2011.

Now in its 60th year, GOOD DESIGN remains the oldest and the most prestigious Awards Program organized worldwide. Submissions to the program are judged by a jury of distinguished design professionals and leading industry specialists and design press on criteria established in the original 1950 program for the highest aesthetic in terms of innovative design, new technologies, form, materials, construction, concept, function, and utility. GOOD DESIGN is an international symbol of a company's firm commitment to innovation and superior design embodiment.
