US Border Agents Confiscate Kinder Surprise Candy Eggs

"Some people crossing the U.S.-Canadian border are learning one country's tasty treat tidbit is another's hidden health hazard, and they don't like it one bit.
The delicious dichotomy concerns the Kinder Surprise candy egg, a popular chocolate treat with a small prize secreted inside that U.S. officials say poses a danger to small children, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported Tuesday.
More than 25,000 of the treats have been confiscated in 2,000 separate seizures, U.S. officials say." UPI
Border agents should concentrate on finding and confiscating illegal drugs, and catching terrorists and other undesirables.
It's just a chocolate egg for God's sake, not a dirty bomb. There's a treat secreted inside the egg, not a rock of crack.
Border agents confiscate the Kinder Surprise eggs because they allegedly present a choking hazard to young children. Another example of the state acting as nanny. It's impossible to make life 100 percent danger-free, let the kids enjoy their candy eggs. If a kid chokes because he ate the toy inside the egg, the little idiot would probably have died from sticking his finger in an outlet or dropping a radio in the tub when he's taking a bath.
What a crazy world we live in when border agents are confiscating chocolate eggs, and not focusing on catching terrorists.
