N & J Entertainment Organizes 'New York Nepali Poetry Festival'
N & J Entertainment Inc. USA, on its Fifth Anniversary organizes "New York Nepali Poetry Festival" with "Cultural Programs."
Interested participating poets and poetesses are requested to bring two copies of their poems at least half an hour prior to the program.
Non-competing poets and poetesses are also encouraged to read their poems during the Poetry Festival.
The participants from other states are also requested to take part in both competitive and non-competitive fields.
The titles of the Poems for the competition are:
1. Nepalko Manchitra lai herda (While I look at Nepal).
2. Nepalko Rastriya Jhanda (National Flag of Nepal).
Or any poem related to Nepal and its culture.
For the non-competitor poets and poetesses, we request to read the poem which respects the languages, literatures and the festivals of Nepal. The reading of the poem must be in Nepali Language.
The Children (Bal Kabi/Kabiyatri) are encouraged to take part in the competition. They are allowed to read their poems either in Nepali or English. The titles of the poems for the Children are:
My Parent/s, My Friend/s or My School.
The winners will be awarded with prizes.

Delicious Nepali food will be served at lunch break at 2:00 PM. A contribution of $10 per person is highly appreciated.
