Cambridge's 2010 Survey Affirms High Satisfaction Ratings by Rep/Advisors
FAIRFIELD, Iowa - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. (Cambridge) Rep/Advisors recently
rated the independent firm 9 on a 10 point scale compared to other
Broker/Dealers in terms of overall satisfaction. This marks the 12th
consecutive year the firm has ranked 9 out of 10 in comparison to other
Broker/Dealers.
High Satisfaction Ratings
Over 390 registered
representatives completed the September 2010 survey, which assessed
ratings in categories including: technology, practice management,
registration/licensing and marketing. As one Rep/Advisor responded, "the
ease of doing business, understanding the business, flexibility and
technology," stand out as some of Cambridge's top qualities.
Delivering on the Promise of Independence
"The fact that
over 97 percent of survey respondents agreed that 'Cambridge provides
them with the independence to practice in the way that most benefits
their clients' affirms our commitment to serving independent
Rep/Advisors," said Cambridge's President and COO, Amy Webber. "We are
particularly pleased that the scores in this category increased by over
6 percent from last year's survey, proving that we continue to deliver
on our promise of independence."
A Service Model with BEST Standards

internal focus on measuring and quantifying service with the BEST
program and are particularly pleased that we improved in 2010 by
achieving 97 percent against our standards," said Mike Hamm, Vice

The BEST Service Standards initiative is a quantifiable quality control
system that Cambridge created to track and enhance service performance.
The comprehensive program is based on in-house standards implemented
across all departments to ensure delivery of the best service. The
Partner Support Center is a one-stop, high-level team created to deliver
"white glove service" to Rep/Advisors. This team is comprised of some of
Cambridge's most highly experienced staff and averages 85 percent first
call resolution, with dedicated assistance company-wide for any issue
not resolved on the first call from Rep/Advisors.
