George W. Bush - Decision Points The Public are Forgetting!
By Ian Brockwell
With almost a million book sales in the first week of publication and compliments coming in thick and fast, you would think George W. Bush was really one of the more popular ex-Presidents in American history.
Yet it seems that we must remind those with failing memories, just how bad a President he really was.
The man could barely string more than a few words together without making a mistake and had this really annoying smirk that used to irritate most people.
Bush took the United States to two wars, the first in Afghanistan, following what many saw as a very convenient attack on the World Trade Center (convenient as far as getting public support for the invasion was concerned). It took Bush less than a month after 9/11 to invade Afghanistan and the war continues to this day.
The second war was against Iraq and started under the pretence that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. However, after a long search, none were found. Tony Blair and the British government supported this lie and sent British troops to help with the illegal invasion.
Both wars have caused the death of thousands of US (and allied) troops since they began and the death toll continues to increase. There are no accurate figures available for civilian losses, but these are believed to be more than a million.
It was Bush that introduced the phrase "war on terror" and "axis of evil", but with his wars causing so many deaths, he actually ended up being responsible for more American casualties than the so called terrorists and killed more civilians than Saddam Hussein!

GHOSTS, UFOs, 9/11 AND MUCH MORE!
At the end of Bush's term in office he had the lowest rating of any President in history (although Obama is getting close to matching this) and despite all the talk about impeachments, he managed to leave without being arrested for his many crimes (just like Tony Blair).
As often happens, the anger turns to sympathy, and suddenly everyone wants to forgive and forget, buy his book and make him lots of money.
If you are one of those that have forgotten, or have bought his book, try and give a thought (if you can manage it) to the thousands who lost their lives because of his "Decision Points". They will never have a chance to read any book again!
