FORD and Carl Edwards Release 'Race Carl Edwards' Webisodes!
KANSAS CITY, Kan., Nov. 17, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- The Midwest Ford dealers, in conjunction with Carl Edwards, have just released the first online webisode produced with footage from the races between Edwards and Scott Lehman, the winner of the Race Carl Edwards campaign.
Back in August, Ford launched the Race Carl Edwards video submission contest, urging Edwards' fans and car enthusiasts alike to convince the car brand why they were as fast as Edwards himself. Submissions from eager fans in Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska swarmed in, and were then judged on enthusiasm and creativity. In early September, Ford announced Scott Lehman of Hutchinson Kansas as the winner of the competition, who then faced Edwards on September 8th at the Kansas Speedway.
The race, which took place over a two-day period, challenged both Edwards and Lehman in ways they could not have imagined. In addition to the already released trailer and webisode, two additional webisodes showcasing highlights from the races will continue to be produced and released for public viewing. Continue to check the site, as the videos will be released through mid December. To view all footage and learn more about the campaign, visit www.racecarledwards.com.
