Shaw's to Celebrate Grand Reopening of Three Stores

The remodeled Shaw's and Star Market stores feature a variety of equipment upgrades, as well as expanded offerings in many categories including:

• A new Seafood department that offers fresh, restaurant-quality seafood available at supermarket prices;
• A larger selection of the freshest produce, including an expanded offering of organic produce from the company's Wild Harvest line;
• Expanded offerings of natural and organic products in dairy, grocery, produce and frozen foods;
• Fresh baked artisan breads and gourmet desserts in the new bakery department.

"From the products and services to design layout, Shaw's is committed to delivering a shopping that is tailored to meet the needs of our local customers," said Shaw's President Larry Wahlstrom. "These redesigned stores will bring a greater selection and variety to our neighborhood customers, while offering a fresh, new feel to their shopping experience. Shaw's will celebrate with grand re-openings with ribbon cutting ceremonies at each location. Federal, state and local public officials have been invited to join Wahlstrom and Shaw's executives Dave McGlinchey and Tom Vesey at the locations. As part of the ceremonies, Shaw's will make donations to local organizations in communities served by each store.
