Adura Technologies Wins Three "Top 100" Green Tech Awards
SAN FRANCISCO - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Adura Technologies, a leading provider of wireless lighting and energy
management solutions, has been named to three lists of "Top 100" green
technology companies in the U.S. in the past five weeks.
The most recent, announced Wednesday, is the 2010 California Game
Changer list, sponsored by the Governor's Office of Economic
Development. Adura was one of 100 finalists selected from a list of 350
nominations from investors, entrepreneurs and event sponsors throughout
the state. The awards honor an elite group of California-based companies
that are market-leading in their industry, according to the competition
organizers.
In October, Adura earned recognition in the 2010 Global Cleantech 100,
produced by the Cleantech Group, providers of leading global market
research, events and advisory services for the cleantech industry. The
list was created in collaboration with the Guardian News.
Adura also was chosen in October by AlwaysOn, a leading business
networking media company, as one of the GoingGreen Silicon Valley Top
100 winners. Adura's inclusion in the list signifies "leadership among
its peers and game-changing approaches and technologies that are likely
to disrupt existing markets," according to the announcement.
"We are delighted with these awards," said Andy Wheeler, CEO. "They not
only recognize Adura's past achievements, but our potential for the
future."
Earlier this year, Adura received two other awards -- finalist in the
San Francisco Business Times Green Business Award competition, one of
only 25 companies selected from a pool of nearly 200; and the
Greetechmedia Top 50, a list of the top startups across the nation, as
selected by the highly regarded greentechmedia.com organization.
