Steelwedge Upgrades S&OP Solution for Era of Supply, Demand Uncertainty

Steelwedge, the leading provider of Cloud-based Sales and Operations Planning solutions, announced today the release of Steelwedge 5.2, a landmark upgrade that will allow large companies to reliably anticipate and manage supply and demand risk in today's highly volatile economy. Steelwedge's next-generation intelligence gathering and scenario analysis tools are designed to offer executives the foresight and flexibility needed to sustain performance despite sales and supply chain uncertainty.

Steelwedge 5.2 takes conventional "what-if" planning to the next level with the introduction of Advanced Scenario Analysis, an innovative decision support solution that integrates time-phased demand, supply and scenario information into a single dashboard. Drawing upon real-time customer and supply chain analytics, S&OP management teams can simulate the "upside" and "downside" of baseline sales and production plans in ways never before possible.
