"CONNECTING the EDGES" - IOCOM Helps Power IDMAA Featured Performance Event Produced by Digital Worlds Institute
VANCOUVER, British Columbia - (BUSINESS WIRE) - IOCOM, a leading software provider for video collaboration capabilities,
is proud to assist Digital World Institute with the upcoming
International Digital Media Arts Association Conference 2010 being held
at the Emily Carr University in Vancouver, British Columbia, November
4-6. IOCOM wishes its long-time partner, Digital Worlds Institute, great
success at the world premiere of "CONNECTING the EDGES: An
Inter-Continental LiveVibe," the featured performance event at the
conference. IOCOM's innovative software is featured in the performance.
"CONNECTING the EDGES" joins together artists and engineers located
across the world in real time. The Featured Performance Event, which has
performers linked in between remote locations, begins simultaneously on
Thursday November 4, 2010 at 5PM PST Vancouver time, 9 AM East Asia time
and 8PM EST.
Building on the network-based global collaborations pioneered by the
Digital Worlds Institute's "In Common: TIME" (ICT) series, CONNECTING
the EDGES will feature three innovative ICT performances: I-M-AGE,
WebJam YVR, and in the SAME SPACE at the SAME TIME. More details on the

This special event is organized and produced by the University of
Florida's Digital Worlds Institute in collaboration with the Emily Carr
University, the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology
(KAIST), Organic Motion of New York, ZeroCSeven of Japan, IOCOM of
Chicago and IDMAA 2010 Vancouver.
