Huntsberger, Bennett Join Security Benefit to Continue Growth, Focus in IMO Market Space

Security Benefit is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Paul Huntsberger and Lee Bennett, who both have joined the Retail Markets Team and will be responsible for business development, relationship management and oversight of sales serving as Field Vice Presidents initially focused on the independent marketing organization (IMO) distribution market place.

Huntsberger, based in Austin, Texas, joins Security Benefit with more than 25 years of financial services distribution experience. Most recently, Huntsberger was part of the Symetra Financial distribution team responsible for business development in their retail markets channel. He also has had a variety of leadership and sales positions with Mutual of Omaha, where he served as a Regional Vice President; MetLife Investors, where he served as Western U.S. Divisional Vice President; Aetna Retirement Services, where he served as a Vice President and a Regional Director; and GE Financial Assurance. At Security Benefit, he will be responsible for strengthening relationships with distributors in the western United States.
Bennett, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, most recently was a Regional Vice President for Sun Life Financial Distributors. Prior to Sun Life, Bennett had a variety of sales-related positions at Protective Life Insurance Company, where he served as Divisional Sales Director; Old National Investments, where he served as Field Sales Manager; and Edward Jones Investments, where he served as a financial advisor. At Security Benefit, Bennett will focus on distributors in the eastern United States.
