Regence Welcomes Dr. Csaba Mera as New Medical Director in Oregon

Dr. Mera has 23 years of clinician experience as a board certified pediatrician and 15 years in medical leadership. He has served as a consultant to health care organizations and Fortune 500 organizations including Time Warner, Dow Chemical, Xerox, AT&T and American Airlines. Most recently, he was the medical director at ODS Health Plans in Portland.

Dr. Mera earned his undergraduate degree from Andrews University in Michigan and his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California. His community activities include serving as president of Third Rail Repertory Theatre and as president of Janus Youth Programs for homeless and disadvantaged kids. He is also on the board of the Oregon Health Care Quality Corporation.
