GREENVILLE, S.C. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - The Board of Directors of AVX Corporation (NYSE: AVX) recently declared a dividend of $0.045 per common share for the quarter ended September 30, 2010.

This dividend will be paid to shareholders of record on November 5, 2010 and will be disbursed on November 19, 2010.
