Sean "Diddy" Combs Creates a Hot Pink Slip for Charity
Rapper-turned-fashion-mogul Diddy, who is internationally known for his white party in the Hamptons, is hosting a pink party on Long Island Thursday, October 14 at 11 PM. A portion of the proceeds will benefit 1 in 9: The Long Island Breast Cancer Action Coalition and the LIPSG Foundation. Patrons are advised to wear a splash of pink. Diddy will be hosting his first Long Island appearance ever at GLO Nightclub.
In the past, rapper turned fashion mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs created a hot pink slip for charity through his clothing line, Sean John for Breast Cancer Care. He has supported the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and visited a 17-year-old cancer patient at a charity tennis match. Diddy has raised more than $2 million for New York schools and children suffering from HIV and AIDS in the New York City Marathon.
Long Island has one of the largest breast cancer rates in the nation. 1 in 9: The Long Island Breast Cancer Action Coalition is Long Island's largest organization dedicated to finding a cure to the disease.
This event is being organized by the Long Island Promotion Group.
