Belwith Products, LLC Announces Federal Action Against J.G. Edelen ("Cool Knobs" )
GRANDVILLE, Mich. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Belwith Products, LLC ("Belwith" ), a designer and manufacturer of
kitchen and bathroom hardware located in Grandville, Michigan, has filed
a lawsuit in the Western District of Michigan, Grand Rapids, against
J.G. EDELEN CO., and its subsidiary COOL KNOBS AND PULLS ("Edelen" )
located in Baltimore, MD. The complaint accuses Edelen of a number of
violations of Belwith's intellectual property rights under federal
statutes, including infringement upon Belwith's patent, trademark and
copyrights.
Belwith owns and continues to pursue substantial intellectual property
rights in its products. These rights have been created and protected at
great expense to Belwith and its predecessors in interest. Belwith
considers its intellectual property to be a significant corporate asset,
and Belwith wants to ensure that others respect its intellectual
property rights. Belwith intends to protect its intellectual property to
