Mega Star J-Woww of Jersey Shore Goes Pink Tomorrow on Long Island as She Becomes Ambassador for National Breast Cancer Coalition
Jersey Shore Star Jenni 'J-Woww' Farley and Huntington Town Supervior Frank Petrone will join Geri Barish, the president of 1 in 9: the Long Island Breast Cancer Action Coalition, Joe Perri President of Gold Coast Bank and officials from the Huntington Breast Cancer Action Coalition as they hang a giant, Twelve-foot pink ribbon across Main Street in Huntington Village to kick off October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Gold Coast bank is giving up their ATM fees to local breast cancer activist groups and urging other financial institutions to do the same. Recently, the funding of local breast cancer groups has been slashed from government agencies due to a weakened economy. This is the 20th year anniversary for 1 in 9: the Long Island Breast Cancer Action Coalition.
J-Woww of the famed MTV Jersey Shore Show is a local Long Island residentthat will serve as a ambassador for the Long Island Breast Cancer Action Coalition 1in 9. She will speak across the United States at schools and colleges about early detection. Long Island has one of the largest breast cancer populations in New York State. She will be arriving to the press conference in a giant pink colored limo
