John Hancock Life Insurance Wins Six Awards for Excellence in Sales Materials

IFCA will present the awards to John Hancock Life Insurance representatives at their annual meeting in Montreal on October 17-20.

The 2010 John Hancock Life Insurance Calendar and the John Hancock LifeCare Mailer both were named Best of Show, the highest award given by IFCA. Four other sales tools produced by John Hancock Life Insurance for intermediaries were given "Awards of Excellence."

The John Hancock Life Insurance "Tools for Success" calendar was designed to provide partners with an attractive, functional calendar while reinforcing John Hancock's strength as a key provider of financial protection products. IFCA judges noted its "cohesive and very attractive packaging and presentation" and "clever concepts and clear messaging."

The LifeCare Mailer was designed to generate awareness around the launch of John Hancock's new LifeCare--a product combining life insurance with long-term care benefits. The self-mailer had vibrant graphics and direct messaging. IFCA judges found it "quick, easy to read and providing information that would motivate the producer to ask for more information."

Winning Awards of Excellence were the:

    --  John Hancock's Advisor Brief - an online collection of reference tools
        to help illustrate where life insurance fits into the estate and
        business plan
    --  Key to Life Microsite - a back to basics look at the value of life
        insurance and how it can address a variety of client needs
    --  Sales Incentive Conference Materials - designed to encourage producers
        to meet qualifications to attend annual sales meetings
