NATO Secretary General to Visit Madrid

The Secretary General of NATO, Mr. Anders Fogh Rasmussen, will visit Madrid on Friday 10 September.

During his visit, the Secretary General will meet H.M. King Juan Carlos I, the President of the Government, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Miguel Angel Moratinos, the Minister of Defence Carme Chacon and the Minister of the Interior Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba.

The Secretary General will also visit the Hoyo de Manzaneres Centre of Excellence and deliver a key-note speech at the Fundacion Lazaro Galdiano, organized by the Royal Elcano Institute.

Still photographs and video images will be available on the NATO website www.nato.int after the event.
