Scientists Discover Way to Read Our Minds!

Scientists have successfully found a way to convert brain signals into speech, using sensors attached to the speech centres of the brain.

An experiment carried out on an epileptic patient produced results where brain signals matched the words 76% to 90% of the time.

This discovery could be used for paralysed patients who cannot now speak, but the full potential has endless possibilities.

It is believed that this technology may be available for paralysed patients in two or three year's time, but if it is possible to convert brain signals for speech, scientists may be able to convert the signals connected to vision.

If this can be achieved, it is conceivable that recordings of dreams can be made. Maybe, in time, we may also be able to receive images in much the same way, enabling us to watch "films" with incredible reality, perhaps even interacting with the plot (as in the film Total Recall)

It is quite possible that this discovery supports my theory on ESP, something I wrote about in my book "The Unexplained Explored". It is my belief that some people can transmit and receive signals with each other (at unlimited distances), provided these signals are on the same wavelength.

I have put my theory to the test many times and on one occasion obtained conclusive proof that it can be achieved.

Because our minds are constantly distracted by everyday events (work, paying bills etc.) and a disbelief that our brains have the ability to perform such tasks, many of us fail to notice our ESP experiences when they occur. I'm sure you have all experienced the situation where the telephone rings and you discover the person calling is the one you were thinking of just moments earlier?

Hypnosis has the ability to help us focus our minds to achieve certain results and Carl Sargent, a psychology major at the University of Cambridge, carried out a test to explore this theory. He recruited 40 fellow college students, none of whom identified themselves as having ESP, and then divided them into a group that would be hypnotized before being tested with a pack of 25 Zener cards, and a control group that would be tested with the same Zener cards. The control subjects averaged a score of 5 out of 25 correct, exactly what chance would indicate. The subjects who were hypnotized did more than twice as well, averaging a score of 11.9 out of 25 correct.
